The Bank has been awarded the “Safest Banker” by 'The Sunday Standard FINWIZ 2012 – Best Bankers’ Award.
The Bank has been awarded the “Safest Banker” by 'The Sunday Standard FINWIZ 2012 – Best Bankers’ Award. The Award has been instituted by The Sunday Standard publication. The Awardee has been identified after a stringent survey of the CEOs of all the 78 Scheduled Commercial Banks operating in India. The survey was conducted by Indicus Analytics, India’s premier economic research agency for The Sunday Standard.
The Award was presented by Shri Anand Sharma, Hon’ble Union Minister of Commerce, Industry and Textiles at an Award ceremony held in New Delhi on 20th August 2012. Shri Ajai Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director,received the prestigious award on behalf of the Bank.
The Surveyors (Indicus Analytics, India’s premier economic research agency) used quantitative and qualitative indicators, published data and primary surveys to arrive at the results. The variables in the quantitative and qualitative spheres were chosen to cover four different aspects of bank operations like – Sustainable growth, Sustained profitability, Good work environment and Contribution to inclusive and broad-based growth of the economy. Forty four quantitative variables were chosen after intensive discussions with bankers, regulators, academia and banking experts.
